You may have chosen the option to evaluate your inbox according to personal search patterns and to automatically decline or delete spam messages. In this case provider usually offers the option to create a "list of permitted senders" (whitelist). Emails from these listed senders are always accepted. Please add the email address authega@authega.bayern.de and repeat the registration if you suspect that you are affected by this problem.

It is important that you enter your date of birth correctly to ensure a smooth registration process (personal certificate). Comfort Login

With the 'Comfort Login' you can conveniently store your certificate file in the browser. This saves you the hassle of searching for your certificate file when you log in, and in the future you will only need your password to log in.

Take advantage of the option to import your certificate file when logging in. When logging in on third-party or public computers, or if you share the computer, you should not select the comfort login option to prevent others from accessing your certificate file.

Please note the special feature of the Apple browser Safari on the iPhone/iPad: With some updates, the browser's offline store is cleared, wich also deletes any stored certificate files.

You can find another way to import your certificate file here. Of course, you can also remove saved certificate files from your browser that have expired or are no longer required.

Here you can import a certificate file you already generated in another browser. Please log in to authega with the other browser and then select in „My user account“ the item „Set up comfort login“. Choose the certificate file to be exported and select „Export certificate file from the browser“ in the „Actions“ column. Copy the letter code from the text field there and then paste it into the input field of the browser into which the certificate file is to be imported.

Alternatively, you can import a certificate file (see „Externally stored certificate files“).

If you have a certificate file on your hard drive or another storage device, you can import the file here into your browser.

LocalStorage is a practical means of reducing traffic between the client and server and thus improving performance. With LocalStorage, data can be saved on the client side. Data is saved and accessed via JavaScript. From now on, the browser can access the saved value and output it. When loading a page, values stored in LocalStorage can be called up and output, such as your certificate.
